Throughout her career, Christine has integrated personal growth with professional development. She began by providing Clinical Nutrition care in hospitals treating Diabetes, Heart Disease, and Cancer. Her own positive experience in psychotherapy inspired her to pursue a license in Counseling.
Christine trained at The University of Connecticut in Clinical Dietetics and in Counseling at California State University Northridge. This was followed by a Jungian theory internship as well as study in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. Her own life losses have rooted her practice in mindfulness and an appreciation of good self care, awakened connection with others, and when necessary- detachment with love.
Christine regularly participates in the Los Angeles Consortium of Grief Professionals and has completed the hospice training, By Your Side: Vigil Companions, sponsored by Episcopal Communities & Services. Also "Mindful and Compassionate Service” and “Cultivating Presence & Resilience” at Metta Institute. She is a member in good standing of the Academy of Eating Disorders, the International Federation of Eating Disorder Dietitians, the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, and active in the San Fernando Valley District.
Christine is a founding member of The Valley Federation of Eating Disorder Professionals (VFEDpros.org). It is her passion to bring together dedicated professionals to improve treatment within the Valleys surrounding Los Angeles.
